Troop 755 hopes everyone had a wonderful summer and we welcome you back as we start up the new 2010/2011 Scout Year.  Please be aware of the following key dates for the first month of September:

Per new BSA regulations, all adult leaders need to complete a minimum training program by January 2012.  Chris McCormick is coordinating our adult leader training activities and he has created a simple sheet (attached) which outlines what each adult leader needs to do between now and January 2012.

The swimming program for 2010/2011 has been finalized and posted to the Troop Calendar.  This year four classes are planned:

• Swimming Merit Badge:  September 30 - November 18
• Lifesaving Merit Badge:  January 13 - February 24
• Scuba Merit Badge:  March 3 - April 7
• New Scout Swim Class:  April 28 - June 2

All classes are held at Northville Parks & Rec Center.  Go to the Calendar to find out more details about each of these classes.

Our 2^nd Annual event will be held Saturday, September 18th at the well-manicured Meadowbrook Country Club.  This is a great opportunity for both golf enthusiasts to play the course at an amazing price and those non-golfers who want to help out the Troop in one of our rare fund-raising events.  Refer to the attached flyer for more information.
